A Day of Tufting
In a few hours, you’ll create your own wall piece using a tufting gun. You’ll work with acrylic yarn on a pre-stretched canvas and tuft a self-designed pattern in your own choice of colours and shapes.
No experience is required, just curiosity. If you’ve tufted before, this workshop also offers space for experimentation and deeper exploration.

At the end of the afternoon, you’ll take your work home with you. You’ll receive carpet glue to finish it yourself, or you can choose to have it finished by me and collect it later at the studio.

Multi-day workshop
Tufting - Design, Experiment & Develop
In this workshop, you’ll explore not only tufting techniques, but also the design process and the finishing of your work. You’ll have time to experiment with different yarns, textures, and techniques.

The starting point is your own abstract design. You’ll learn how to translate your idea into a unique piece on fabric.
You’ll create your own (wall) piece up to 40 × 50 cm. If you wish, we can also frame your work.

Free Tufting
Work on Your Own Project
Have you already taken a tufting workshop – with me or someone else – and want to continue developing your skills? You’re very welcome to come to my studio by appointment to work on your own project.
You’ll rent the workspace including access to all necessary materials and tools, such as a tufting gun, stretching frames, and yarns. I will be present for practical guidance, but you’ll work independently.
For: Anyone with previous tufting experience
When: By appointment, during the day or in the evening
Duration & cost: Flexible, depending on time and project size
Includes: Use of materials, coffee/tea
Starting rate: €65, including materials and 3 hours of tufting. Additional hours €10 per hour, materials included.
Customized Workshop
Bring Your Own Group
Would you like to tuft together with friends, colleagues, or family?
If you have a group of 3 to 6 people, I’d be happy to arrange a tailor-made workshop outside the regular schedule.

Together, we’ll choose a suitable time and the type of workshop that fits your group — a short afternoon session or a more in-depth course. Perfect as a creative outing, team activity, or celebration!

Open studio
During the open studio, you’ll work independently on your own project. There is no formal instruction, but I’m present for questions, discussion, or a fresh perspective.
You’ll have access to everything the studio has to offer — from a sewing machine and overlocker to a small loom, punch needles, embroidery materials, and knitting and crochet needles. There’s also an inspiring collection of old and new books, full of ideas for small textile projects.
A selection of second-hand yarns and fabrics is available for purchase at small prices — perfect if you want to try something new or are missing just that one piece.
The open studio is a relaxed place to spend time on a project that’s been waiting for a while, or to explore something new in a warm, creative atmosphere.
Contribution: €7.50
Tufting is only available by appointment.
